When You Know You're Enough, But Don't Feel It

Practical tools for developing a steadier sense of self worth

You know it. But somehow you don’t quite feel it.

Perhaps you already know that your worth shouldn’t depend on how much you achieve, how useful you are, whether everyone approves of you, or whether you get everything right. And yet knowing that doesn’t always change what happens in the moment. You might still feel guilty when you say no. Find criticism hard to shake off. Brush away compliments. Put everyone else’s needs before your own. Or hear that familiar inner voice telling you that you should be doing more, trying harder or coping better. There can be a real gap between knowing you have worth and actually experiencing yourself as someone who matters. That’s what this collection is designed to help with.

Six practical tools to help self-worth become something you can practise

Self-worth isn’t only something we think about. It shows up in the small moments of everyday life: when we make a mistake, receive a compliment, need to say no, ask for help, express a preference or decide whether our needs matter too. That’s why I’ve created this as a practical toolkit rather than a course full of theory.

Across six short sessions, I’ll help you understand a little more about what may be happening, and then introduce you to one simple psychological tool you can begin using straight away.

You’ll explore how to:

•recognise what happens in your body, thoughts and behaviour when your self-worth is stirred

•create a little more safety and steadiness before reacting

•find kinder, more flexible beliefs that you can actually believe

•step back from the inner critic, perfectionist or people-pleasing part of you

•become more comfortable receiving appreciation, kindness, help and rest

•make small everyday choices that reflect the fact that you matter too

Each session is available to watch or listen to, and there’s a companion workbook to help you reflect, practise the tools and make them your own.

Your six self-worth tools

1. The Self-Worth Body Check:Understand what happens inside you when your sense of worth gets stirred.
2. The Safe Enough Reset: Find greater steadiness when guilt, criticism or someone else’s disapproval knocks you off balance.
3. The Belief Bridge: Work with self-worth beliefs in a way that feels believable rather than forced.
4. The 1% Step Back:  Change your relationship with the critical, perfectionistic or people-pleasing voice inside.
5. Receive & Stay: Explore why receiving kindness, appreciation, help or rest can sometimes feel surprisingly difficult.
6. One Small Act of Worth: Begin translating self-worth into the small choices you make in everyday life. :

Everything you need to work at your own pace

This is designed to be something you can return to, rather than another course you have to work your way through.

Meet Your Guide

Beverley Harper is an Integrative  Psychotherapist, EMDR therapist, Clinical Hypnotherapist, EFT practitioner  and trainer with  more than twenty years' experience helping people understand themselves, create meaningful and lasting change and develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves.

Her approach brings together practical psychology, nervous system awareness and compassion with a strong belief that insight is most useful when it can be translated into something that makes a difference in everyday life  and therapeutic tools that can be applied in everyday life.

Beverley’s work is warm, relational and grounded. Rather than offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all answers, she helps people understand what may be happening beneath their thoughts, feelings and patterns, while offering practical tools they can use in their own lives.

Whether she is working with clients, teaching therapists or creating accessible psychological resources, her aim is the same: to make good psychological support understandable, useful and genuinely human.
